Top Marks for everything! I loved entering the garden gate (when I'd fathomed out the entry system!) into the beautiful garden. The very warm welcome we received from Lisa and then Mark on his return. The decor throughout the house is lovely. Our room was spacious and airy with a great sized bathroom. The bed was so very comfortable. I loved the bath sheet sized towel and was thrilled when I saw you had the same towels as us. Very often the towels are no larger than a hanky! The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order on the morning. A great location despite no onsite carpark, we were lucky to park right outside on the road but the church carpark is just down the road. A very quiet area within walking distance of a great pizza restaurant or a pub just across the road. You surpassed my expectations, thank you!

Mark & Lisa made our trip so memorable and we couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend, Mark & Lisa went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing less than excellent. As it was my partners birthday I wanted to do something special and they were very accommodating to my requests. Even went the extra miles and bought an ice bucket 🙌🏻. The place was welcoming, spotless, and breakfast in the morning was something to look forward to, especially marks Pancakes 👌🏻. Definitely the go to.

Penwyth House ist toll. Hier stimmt einfach alles: Lisa und Mark sind wundervolle Gastgeber. Sie geben einem das Gefühl zu Hause zu sein, helfen mit vielen Tipps, Restaurantreservierungen,… und servieren ein leckeres, individuell zubereitetes Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet; das Bett super bequem, Kaffee/ Teezubereiter/ Wasser und Biscuits wurden bereitgestellt. Das Badezimmer war groß und schön gestaltet. Die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Alles war super sauber. Vom Zimmer aus konnte man in den wunderschönen Garten schauen. Die Lage des B&B ist klasse. Es liegt sehr ruhig, abseits des quirligen Newquay. Man kann zu Fuß bis in die Stadt und an die Strände hinunter laufen und man kommt von dort schnell überall hin. Das Auto konnte man sicher in der Straße gegenüber oder auf dem Parkplatz bei der Kirche ( mit Parkausweis des B&B) parken. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage bei euch, Lisa und Mark. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Newquay kommen, würden wir gerne wieder bei euch übernachten.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Penwyth House and immediately felt very welcome. Mark and Lisa were very friendly and took the time to give us great tips on what to see and do, which we really appreciated.The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared by Lisa. There was plenty of choice, and it was something we looked forward to each morning. We would gladly stay here again and can highly recommend it.

Eins der besten B&Bs, in dem wir bisher waren. Sehr zu empfehlen. Danke Lisa und Mark. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes B&B. Man möchte am liebsten einziehen. Zimmer, Badezimmer, Frühstücksraum und Garten - wunderschön. Extrem sauber. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber und tolles, liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück. Pub mit gutem Essen um die Ecke.

11 von 10 Punkten! Sehr leckeres, liebevoll zubereitetes warmes Frühstück mit toller Option für Vegetarier. Wunderschön eingerichtete, blitzsaubere Zimmer mit Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffee. Und natürlich Lisa und Mark, ein Gastgeberpaar, das sich wirklich für seine Gäste interessiert und alles tut, um ihnen den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten!

It was a very nice and cosy house. I loved the kitchen. The breakfast was very special and very, very tasty. My room was large and cosy. It was cleaned every day and restocked with what was consumed. Mark and Lisa were very welcoming and gave good tips on excursions. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach and from there you could start a cliff walk. We did not have our own car park, but there were plenty of parking spaces on the street.

Perfect hosts in a perfect location with a beautiful house. The house was lovely throughout, very well furnished and in a wonderful location (a short walk to the nearest beach and then another 15/20 mins into Newquay itself). Mark and Lisa are exceptional hosts and so welcoming and friendly (Mark is a font of knowledge about the area and just accept his recommendations on where to eat). If we ever go to this area again we will 100% chose Penwyth. Utterly brilliant.

Great location, great value for money and the hosts were fabulous. Lovely home and centrally located in Newquay to all you would want to see in Cornwall. Free parking by the home and a great English pub less than 100 meters from the B&B. The home is fresh, clean, modern and with loads of water pressure. 😁

What a superb, clean, modern, lucky find. Everything we needed for our stay, and all managed by the perfect hosts. Plenty of information given for where we could visit on our stay, both provided this up front to allow for any pre-booking, and was readily available upon arrival too.

The property was spotless, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming too. And the breakfast? Delicious. Not your bog standard full English but a far more tasty version of herby scrambled eggs, toast, pancetta bacon with tomatoes and mushrooms. We made a great choice choosing this place and have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

Probably the best B&B in Cornwall! Fantastic place. Superb room, great breakfast and perfect hosts. If going to Newquay, this is the place to stay!

Hosts Lisa & Mark made us feel most welcome . We selected Penwyth House as a location suited to our needs . It is outside central Newquay making it a very quiet B&B . We stayed 5 nights using it as a central base with which to explore Cornwall . That proved to be a wise decision as we could travel north , south or east with a drive that was no more than an one and a half hours to any destination . Breakfast was hard to fault & always had us well prepared for the day ahead .
