Penwyth House ist ein kleines Juwel: sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, eine tolle Lage....nur 15 Minuten zum Strand, Pub ist gleich um die Ecke, Penwyth House war bestens geeignet für unseren 14 tägigen Aufenthalt. Neben der tollen Landschaft war das B&B unser absolutes Highlight des Urlaubs! Lisa und Marc sind so liebenswert.....sie haben immer eine Empfehlung, ein liebes Wort....und ein mega leckeres Frühstück....von uns eine absolute Empfehlung.

Geweldige locatie en voldoende privacy, leuke eigenaren in omgang. Scored 10 10 Erg schoon en mooi ingericht. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en betrokken.

We didn’t want to leave!! The property was beautiful, very rustic and in such a peaceful quiet area, It felt like a home. We loved our stay at penwyth house with Lisa and Mark. They were fantastic hosts and really made you feel comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and I’ve gone away with a garlic pepper obsession! We stayed in the crantock room, it was spacious and very relaxing after a long day exploring and the freestanding bath was an added bonus to help with aching muscles. The hosts couldn’t do enough for you, really down to earth people with amazing knowledge of where to visit, eat etc. we would love to come back to stay for our next trip to Cornwall! Thank you for having us ❤️

Wir wurden super lieb von Mark empfangen der uns gleich alles erklärt hat und uns Tipps für den Abend gegeben hat. Das Zimmer war super schön. Wir hatten sogar eine Badewanne im Zimmer. Das Zimmer war schön groß, hell und sauber. Das Bad war schön hell und super sauber. Das Bett mega bequem. Das Frühstück war toll und Mark hat sich mit allen unterhalten. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht dort zu übernachten und zu frühstücken. Das B&B ist etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum von Newquay gelegen, aber es gibt um die Ecke einen ganz hübschen Pub in dem man auch gut essen kann. Freie Parkplätze gibt es in der Nähe der Kirche. Mark ist super hilfsbereit. Er hat uns sofort geholfen als wir ein Problem mit unserem Auto hatten. Ganz tolle Hosts.

Man freut sich abends darauf, wieder „ nach Hause“ zu kommen 😀 Unser Zimmer hatte einen sehr schönen Blick auf den tollen Bauerngarten. Das Bett war super bequem, wir hatten eine freistehende Badewanne im Erker und ein separates Bad mit Regenwalddusche. Im Zimmer gab es gemahlenen Kaffee für die Kaffeepresse, Süßigkeiten und täglich frische Milch im Kühlschrank. Außerdem gab es löslichen Kaffee, eine Auswahl an Tees und Wasser im Zimmer. Mark und Lisa haben morgens ein Superfrühstück frisch für uns zubereitet. In lockerer Atmosphäre haben wir uns dabei über unser Tagesprogramm unterhalten und tolle ergänzende Tipps von den Beiden bekommen. Wir haben immer einen Parkplatz im näheren Umfeld gefunden. Wir würden Penwyth House auf jeden Fall wieder buchen! 🙂

cozy, welcoming, convenient and clean. My partner and I stayed at Penwyth House for two nights back in April and had a wonderful experience. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely couple that run the place. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start the day. We can highly recommend booking your stay with them.

Mark und Lisa sind sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber mit guten Tipps für Ausflüge. Das Haus ist sehr schön mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Leider ist auf der Straße nicht immer ein Parkplatz frei, aber nur 3 Gehminuten entfernt befindet sich ein großer Parkplatz neben der Kirche. Das große Zimmer ist neu renoviert, freundlich und sehr sauber. Die im Zimmer am Fenster stehende Badewanne haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Bad mit Dusche und WC ist etwas klein, vor allem das Waschbecken. Es gibt aber viele Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück war lecker, vor allem das würzige Rührei mit Speck oder Lachs, Tomaten, Pilzen sowie der Pancake mit Joghurt, frischen Früchten und etwas Sirup. Weitere Speisen stehen auf dem Buffet.

Mark und Lisa waren tolle Gastgeber, was dafür sorgt, dass man sich praktisch direkt nach Ankunft wie zuhause fühlt. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Gaben uns viele Tip ps für Unternehmungen. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sauber und sehr gemütlich.

Lisa and Mark are outstanding hosts who run their B&B with heart, energy, and real care for every guest. I stayed in the Crantock Suite—a gorgeous room with a beautiful morning view of the garden. Perfectly placed for exploring Truro, Newquay, and Padstow.

Lovely little gem just outside Newquay in a lovely village setting close to the farmers arms which does lovely food so you can a have a drink without worrying about driving. Great host Lisa and Mark were very friendly with lots of information will definitely come back

What a little gem, tucked away in the heart of the village but a stones throw from the bustle and beaches of Newquay and excellent placed for access to loads of great days out. Wonderfully welcoming hosts, gorgeous property, comfortable, well appointed room with a view onto the walled garden. Tucked away in the comfort of our room, we felt a million miles from the troubles of the world ,watching the jackdaws gather nesting material from the trunk of the palm growing in the lovely private garden. There is a cosy pub a stones throw away that had a warm welcome too. Breakfast was delicious, served in a small dining room with the hosts on hand cooking and chatting, they promote, and achieve, a convivial relaxed atmosphere. We loved our stay and felt that we got so much more from it than we expected. Loved the whole experience.

Our room, the Crantock Suite, was absolutely beautiful. The large freestanding bath in the window made the stay for us - and the recent addition of the wooden style blinds only added to the effect, providing a continental feel. The building and garden in its entirety was gorgeously styled and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout. Apparently we were the first guests of 2025 and our stay for Valentines was very special - we loved the rose in the vase in the bedroom touch. The breakfast was lovingly presented and tasted divine. Lastly, the hosts were warm and welcoming and made us feel very 'at home' during our stay.
